Q:> What is a Campaign and how does it work ?
A:> A Campaign allows you to setup a mailshot, or as much of it as you want, and then save all of those details for later recall and use. This way you can easily mail a follow on to the same set of contacts that you sent a previous email to.
Q:> What is the 'Delete Campaigns' button in Preferences ?
A:> This button deletes all campaigns and their associated data in one go.
Q:> How do I Create an HTML Email ?
A:> There are dozens of ways to do this, you need an HTML editor of some kind. We use DreamWeaver.
Q:> How do I get an HTML email into R10BatchMail ?
A:> Click the 'Direct Link to Existing HTML Document' checkbox and select an HTML document. You cannot insert HTML into R10BatchMail any other way. You an view the HTML document using the Preview button.
Q:> My ISP does not let me send lots of Emails in one go ?
A:> You can use the settings in the Preferences to limit the amount you send in one go and the wait time between batches, or better still use a dedicated SMTP service. We use AuthSMTP and find them excellent.
Q:> Can I personalise each Email ?
A:> Yes. Use the **Name** parameter in your Text or Html.
Q:> What does 'Remove Leading Spaces' do ?
A:> Often data pulled from export files can have a space in front of the email address that cannot be seen but nevertheless invalidates the email address. This option removes that space character.
Q:> What does 'Simulate Sending' do ?
A:> As it says on the tin :-) The simulation allows you to see that everything is ok with your configuration prior to actually sending. The simulation does everything but actually send the email.
Q:> What about Language Encoding ?
A:> Encoding should work for you without problems whatever your language.
